Bars in Val Claret
Saloon Bar – With sister bars to be found in Val D’Isere and Val Thorens, Saloon bar Tignes continues to bring the party atmosphere to the Espace Killy. They’ve got some great happy hour promotions, shots, cocktails, happy hour entertainment and a pool table.
Le Studio – A cosy and cool French bar run by Olivier and his friendly team of staff. Go there to watch live sport on TV with a cocktail, relax with a glass of wine and soak up the atmosphere.
Couloir - A fantastic drinking and dining experience, with a good selection of spirits and cocktails, all sound-tracked by awesome feel-good funk, soul and lo-fi playlists. Swing by for a visit.

Melting Pot - You'll find a good selection of dance music at the Melting Pot - Drum n Bass, Electro, Hip Hop and fortunately, not too much of the classic discotheque cheese. The prices are reasonable (for a club), and keep an eye out for promotion nights, ladies could benefit from free champers, and there's always happy hour for the early birds.
Blue Girl - This fun and infamous discotheque is guaranteed to make you smile. The club that most people in resort can never remember being in… watch out for the pole dancing and ‘sexy’ nights.
Bars in Le Lac
Underground Bar – Situated on Rue de la poste, Underground Bar has a great party atmosphere, weekly DJs and live music. Charlie, Adam and the team are always up for a party till the early hours!
The Marmot Arms - The Marmot Arms is ideally situated at the foot of the Palafour chairlift, making it a great apres ski location. Happy Hour deals are de-rigueur and the kitchen is open all day serving up a great Full English and gourmet burgers. The Marmot Arms also host live music, DJs and live sports too.
L’Embuscade – A Very friendly and relaxed French bar and a favourite of seasonaires of all nationalities. Go there to play pool, practice your French and get to know the locals. A great place for an après ski pint or try one of the handpicked wines on their extensive wine list.
Jam Bar – The Jam Bar is owned by Italian/French couple Rocco and Delphine. True to their roots, they serve fantastic coffee and delicious homemade pasta dishes to warm you up throughout the day. Jam Bar is conveniently located at the bottom of the Palafour lift.
Loop Bar – The Loop has probably one of the best sun terraces in Tignes, looking out over the lake up to the Grand Motte. They have great happy hour offers and live sports are shown on TV. Every night is a party night with world famous DJs and live music at après and in the evenings.
Alpaka Lodge – Relax on the sofas in this cosy well established hotel bar. You are guaranteed a warm welcome from Jill and her team. Head to the Alpaka for cocktails, a vin chaud in front of the fire, and to enjoy the live bands they have on weekly at après and evenings.

Jacks Club ‘Le Bowling’ – For many people this is a bit of a marmite club. Those who shudder at the thought of dancing round a pole to a bit of 70s disco, a bit of 80s cheese and a bit of 90s rock all mixed together, then this probably isn't your thing. Everyone else - you’ll love it! You’ll find their 10 pin bowling alley right next door too.
Bars in Le Lavachet
Box Bar – Box is new for the 2017/18 season and has been re-vamped and re-opened by four frieds who are bringing a fresh style of Bar/café to Lavachet. They’ve got a café menu with interesting new snacks and flavours, as well as drink deals and bottomless Prosecco on a Sturady and Sunday to ease you into the weekend!
Brasero – Brasero is run by the team who have the Loop Bar in Le Lac. They have great après and evening bands throughout the week, as well as promotional nights. Their terrace gets the last of the sun of the day so it’s a perfect stop off for a rewarding après pint or vino.
SO.Bar... Ellis, Nick and Jo are your wonderful hosts at SO.Bar. You'll be split for choice with their selection of tipples - ideal for an Apres-Ski session or an evening hang out. This funky bar also plays host to many parties throughout the season, as well as Karaoke Thursdays! so keep an eye on what's on in Lavachet.
Queue de Cochon – Just over the road from the Brasero is the Queue de Cochon. They have a fantastic list of cocktails and pride themselves on offering you a varied selection of spirits, with deals to be had throughout the week. Grab a pulled pork roll with your pint or Prosseco to keep you going at Apres, then hang around into the evening for DJs and live bands.
Bars in Tignes Les Brevieres
The Vault in Les Brevieres is under new management. It’s a fun and lively bar with a rustic log cabin style. Come and spot the quirky new additions to this intimate venue. A great place to warm up after a day on the mountain. New diner style menu, all mains under 15 euros, cocktails, mulled cider, drink promos, seasonaire discounts, live music and weekly events.

Expensive
Le Caveau – Le Caveau never fails to exceed expectations for a special night out. Dine lavishly and then sit back and enjoy listening to the blues band with a full stomach. Although not cheap, it is possible to eat on a budget with their set menus. (Val Claret Centre – 04 79 06 52 32)
La Table en Montagne – This restaurant is part of the 5* ‘Suites du Nevada’ Hotel. The menu is varied with ingredients such as suckling pig, veal, snails and truffles. They offer a 3 course menu deal as well as a la carte. Start and finish your meal with an aperitif and digestif at the hotel’s ‘Whitney Bar’.
Mid range
La Pignatta – The Pignatta does some amazing pizzas with some imaginative toppings, as well as a varied list of meat and pasta dishes including slow roast honey pork and carpaccio of smoked trout. Another good Savoyard restaurant offering the traditional dishes from tartiflette to fondue. (Val Claret Centre - 04 79 06 32 97)
Couloir – The Couloir bar and restaurant has a talented kitchen team, creating wonderfully imaginative and contemporary dinner menus - couple that with the extensive range of beers, wines and spirits inspired by world travel and you've got yourself a fantastic drinking and dining experience (Val Claret Centre – 04 79 06 32 64)
Oh la Vache – this restaurant is for the meat lover! Several different cuts of beef as well as other meats such as lamb and pork, some sharing options and all within a cosy and modern setting.
Budget
TUMMY - restaurant, pizzeria and a take-away, where locally sourced ingredients from Italy and the Alpine Valleys are transformed in to an excellent menu. Customers are invited to enjoy simple quality food, which includes: gourmet burgers, fries, Italian pizzas and home-made pasta sauces. All menus have a Savoyard theme. Le Coffee – Burgers, paninis, salads and pasta, Le Coffee is a great choice for a spot of lunch before you head off for an afternoon on the piste. Sitting outside on the sun terrace makes it a sociable place to meet up with friends. (Val Claret Centre – 04 79 40 04 64)

Restaurant Les Campanules - The Campanules is a 4 star Hotel in the heart of Tignes le lac, and they have a lovely restaurant which is open to non-residents. One of their highlights is the weekly seafood buffet. Tel +33 (0)479063436
La Bergerie - Tucked away at the top of Rue de la Poste is La Bergerie, a cosy restaurant with Alpine charm. They cook some Savoyard favourites as well as a lovely Cote de Boeuf. Expect to pay between 25-30€ for a main course. Tel +33 (0)479063843
Mid range
L’Arbina – Traditional Savoyard food and pizzas are available in the lower part of the restaurant. You can also dine outside at one of the street-side tables, centrally located so ideal for a bite to eat when you ski back down to Le Lac (Le Lac Rosset - 04 79 06 46 83)
L’Escale Blanche - This restaurant has been in Tignes for years and has a great terrace ideal for mid-skiing lunches. It has the usual selection of pizzas and steaks, but the large restaurant and terrace right next to Fond de neige make it a popular choice.
Rendezvous – The Rendezvous restaurant offers you a reasonably priced menu with a traditional Savoyard cheese dishes, a good selection of pizzas, as well as steaks and pasta. A great setting for a meal out with friends, right in the heart of Tignes Le Lac. (Le Lac Bec Rouge – 04 79 06 32 21)

Marmot Arms – Check out their Gormet burger menu! They have a weekly Burger Special, including Wild Boar and other unusual ingredients, great to boost your energy and keep you on the hill.
Creperie de Bretonne – A traditional creperie specialising in a wide range of savoury and sweet crepes (including gluten –free crepes), salads and omelettes. Eat on the sunny South facing terrace or take away Le Lac Rosset - 04 79 00 31 07)
The Loop – The Loop’s sunny terrace provides a perfect setting for lunch. Try one of their mouth watering homemade burgers, or if it’s an après ski snack you’re after, go for the Loop Chilli nachos. Evening meals are also available including a new pizza menu. (Le Lac Rosset – 04 79 06 30 61)

Tignes Cuisine – The perfect meal for when you’re too tired to move and a very welcome break from all the cheese and pizzas!. Tignes Cuisine offers a menu specialising in Asian cuisine and it can be delivered directly to your door. Home cooked and spiced to your preference. Expensive
La Ferme des 3 Capucines – Translated as “The Farm”, this restaurant adjoins a working farm and small farm selling cheeses and other products made on site. Expect a warm alpine atmosphere and a traditional menu that includes the delicious Cote De Boeuf and a selection of fondues. It’s just off the main road at the bottom of Lavachet but is definitely worth the couple of minutes walk – booking is advisable! (04 79 06 35 10)
L’Arti - L’Arti is new to Lavachet and offers a unique selection of dishes with some unusual combinations. They have a good vegetarian selection with delicious, fresh ingredients They also offer 3 course set menus as well as children’s
Mid Range
Queue de Cochon – There’s a delicious selection on offer at the Queue de Cochon, including slow cooked Lamb belly, Venison and Entrecote Rossini. It’s all cooked by a talented and experienced team with twists on the norm and original additions to each dish. An extensive menu, also with 2 and 3 course menu deals. Le Brasero – You can get an excellent steak at the Brasero, as well as other mouth-watering dishes including Duck Confit, Asian style Tuna and delicious Bagels with a variety of fillings such as Hoisin Duck, Salted Beef and Poached Salmon. A great location for lunch in the sunshine, as well as a hearty evening meal. (Le Lavachet centre 04 79 24 49 34)
Mendikoa – This is a real favoruite of the locals and they offer some lovely Savoyard dishes such as cheese fondue, but also have other delicious mains such as cote de boeuf and a changing menu of game, fish and seafood.

La Cantine – Open daily from 8am till 7.30pm, La Cantina is your one stop shop for toasties! The perfect warming meal for a cold day on the hill. They have a large selection of fillings, as well as cakes and pudding to finish off with.
